The Sensory Trust is running a two-day conference in Devon and Cornwall, UK, to explore the concept of place, what makes it special, what gives it sensory value, and how a sense of place can help create inclusive environments.

Programme
Day 1
Two spectacular venues on the first day will set the scene for our sensory travels.
Morning: Plymouth, Devon.
Afternoon: Carnglaze Caverns. We will be exploring different ways of bringing the sense of place directly into this conference.
Evening: the Eden Project. The Eden team have very kindly arranged a special event for us. Attendees will be able to explore the indoor Biomes, followed by a dinner in the Gallery restaurant, with special guest speaker.
Day 2
Location: Plymouth, Devon. An urban setting.
A full programme including talks and breakout sessions, and the chance to explore some of Plymouth's outdoor environmental scene.
