Will the ‘gum target’ lead to wider recognition of the sticky-sole problem? With one of these in the high street, I don’t think it would get much use, but it could have an awareness-raising effect with the result that there’ll be less gum dropped elsewhere. But we should be prepared for the possibility that folk will emerge from the bars late in the evening and use the target for other samples. What? Fit a surveillance camera, there, in the centre?
