Gated communities: over the top?
I'm a bit late catching up with this. In a nicely wry gesture, an anonymous arts organisation called Heavy Trash has installed bright orange viewing platforms in front of three Los Angeles gated communities. Their blog includes tidy summaries of the issues without getting morally heavy. Appropriate use of media and public art to draw attention to a serious public realm issue.
Via Beyond brilliance.
